Wednesday Post Conference Event: National Renewable Energy Laboratory Tour

Come visit the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL)—the nation's premier research laboratory for renewable energy and energy efficiency technology development. Visitors will tour the Solar Energy Research Facility, home of the National Center for Photovoltaics as well as the Laboratory's most energy efficient building, the Science Technology Facility. Guests will see the Outdoor Test Facility where NREL researchers test solar electric systems in an outdoor environment as well learn about the challenges researchers face in developing a manufacturing process that will turn biomass into ethanol.

  • $40 registration fee
  • Bus leaves the conference site at 12:30 pm
  • Tour 1-3 pm
  • The bus will drop off visitors at the airport between 4 and 5 pm and will then return to the downtown Denver Marriott City Center Hotel

For security reasons, all visitors must sign up for the tour at least a week in advance and bring a photo I.D. with them on the tour. Only U.S. Citizens may attend.
